Case Study: My Experience With Foods

Benefits Of Becoming A Vegan

When you become a vegan, it means that you have given up your desire to eat any types of meats and animal products and instead you focus on exclusively eating vegetables and any other edible vegetation-derived products. When you become a vegan, you totally stop your interest in eating any meat that is from all the examples of domestic animals which you keep at homes such as cattle, pigs, sheep, and goats. Your eating habits change when you become a vegan because your main source of food material will now shift from animal products to vegetables that you can grow at your farm, fruits you buy from the stores on the market, leaves, roots, and barks from herbs and other trees that are known to provide products that are good for human consumption. There are a lot of advantages of becoming a vegan as seen on the influence the switch will have on the surrounding as well as to your health.

The first importance of being a vegan is that you now start to see no need of rearing any domesticated animals such as cattle in your home because your diet requirements become different and you no longer need the meat and other products from the animals. When a lot of people in the world collectively make a choice to stop using animal meat for food and choose vegetables instead, the world will experience a reduction in number of livestock that are reared on farms since there will be no customers for animal products in many places for the livestock to continue existing. As the number of livestock heads keeps decreasing due to the growing number of vegans in the society, there is going to be a reduced amount of dangerous gases such as carbon IV oxide that are released into the air by such animals when they are breathing out. When the pollutant gas levels in the atmosphere reduce, the climatic conditions will not be altered, and therefore the world is not likely to encounter the predicted adverse conditions which would otherwise have led to unbearable circumstances for both animal and plant life to survive in during the future years.

The second important of being vegan is that the reduction in number of domestic animals in a homestead due to change in your eating habits means that you will not be forced to use a lot of water on the livestock and you can therefore store it for use in future when the amounts of water have reduced due to drought.

Lastly, rearing of livestock at home requires that you spend your money and time planting crops which you will then harvest early for your animals to eat and therefore becoming a vegan will ensure that all the crops that you grow are specifically meant for your eating so that the cases of starvation around the world are eliminated.
